Coffee and Street Clean-Up

This is the first of three planned Street Cleanups. This Adopt a City Street clean up event is part of the City of Charlotte's Keep Charlotte Beautiful program.
You are invited to join the Environment & Sustainability Team for a community clean-up of our designated city streets.
We will start by gathering at Waterbean Coffee, located at 1111 Metropolitan Ave. After enjoying some coffee and fellowship, we will move to the Meck County Board of Election parking lot at 741 Kenilworth Ave to get outfitted and begin our trash pick-up (note - feel free to park at BOE office and walk the block and a half to Waterbean Coffee) . The clean-up area includes several short streets along Kenilworth Ave, between the Levine Cancer Institute and Pearl Park.
- Participants are encouraged to wear supportive, protective shoes.
- Reusable gloves, safety vests, litter sticks, and trash bags will be provided for everyone.
